Tape Measure

When you are doing your DIY jobs, you will soon realize that there is no room for guess work. Hammer

A smooth-faced hammer should be enough for your needs at home. Be sure to buy one that is heavy enough to hammer strong nails into hard walls. It is also important to get a hammer that has a curved claw as well. This is useful for pulling out nails and screws. If you are new to DIY, you may end up accidentally bending quite a few nails. Spirit Level

Do your pictures always look slightly crooked when you hang them on your wall? There is one easy solution to this. Buy a spirit level so that you can tell how straight your picture frames are when you are hanging them up.
