I received the following item at no cost to me to facilitate my review; however all opinions remain my own. For more information, see my full disclosure policy.
On any given day, I find I’m toting around quite a bit of stuff. Between all of my own personal items, items for my toddler (and soon a newborn), food for when I’m at work, and on days I’m doing yoga, a mat and strap. Getting out the door with that many bags is a challenge; getting out the door with that many bags and a 14 month old is near impossible.
I needed a solution, but not necessarily just a bigger bag (ever try to find a wallet in a large bag while in the grocery store with a screaming toddler?).
Aurorae Yoga carries a wide variety of yoga and active products perfect for yoga, hiking, swim, meditation, and aroma therapy. The multi-purpose sling yoga backpack is made for trips to the yoga studio, gym, school, hiking, biking, and traveling – or if you’re like me, toting everything around.
It features 7 pockets (4 zippered, 3 mesh pouches) and a variety of snaps, straps and clips allowing the bag to be truly customized to the individual using it. The front pouch even has a specialized wet liner to hold used workout clothes… or wet toddler clothes. A pouch and straps on the outside of the bag secure a yoga mat in place. The straps are adjustable ensuring the right amount of tension for your mat. The pouch for the yoga mat folds up when not in use, which I really liked, since I use this bag for more than just toting my yoga mat around.
It’s made of a heavy duty polyester and is built to last – trust me, I’ve put a lot of things into this bag. Yoga mat and water bottle, laptop and planner, wallet, keys and phone, and an array of items for my toddler – sippy cup, diapers, wipes, teether. It all fits, and I still have more pockets and more room if I needed it (and I will when I start lugging around a toddler and a newborn!). Plus, the amount of pockets allow me to keep things separate. No digging around a diaper bag to find my wallet, or digging around a purse to find a teether. I can keep our things in different pockets.
Overall, we love this bag! I’ve been using it as my everyday bag so I can just pop in my yoga mat when I’m ready to go and don’t have to transfer my personal things to and from a gym bag. The multiple pockets and pouches keep me organized which is a lifesaver when I’m out and about with a toddler – or on our way to mommy and me yoga. Plus the durability of the bag ensures it will last a long time.
